​​9.2 Support​

'Compassion for Orphans' recognises the important role that adoptive parents play as central partners in the protection of children.​

'Compassion for Orphan' is committed to providing extensive support (pre and post adoption) to adoptive parents and their family. 

Once applicants become clients of 'Compassion for Orphans', our social worker will make contact with the applicants and mutually develop a support plan which will encompass the desirable level of contact pre adoption, the establishment of support contacts etc).

Our social worker will also meet with applicants to discuss any matching proposal received.

Post adoption, our social worker will meet with the adoptive parents to review (and update if necessary) the support plan.
